The right to return is the disturbing true story of how the United Kingdom and the United States governments conspired to illegally evict thousands of Chagossian islanders from Diego Garcia in the 1960s to make way for a US military base. Based on reports and investigations by David Vine and John Pilger.

Dan Archer creates non-fictional, journalistic comics. He received his MFA in cartooning from the Center for Cartoon Studies in Vermont, United States. His work has been published by Bash magazine, The Other Side magazine, Memoir, Literary Journal, Penguin, Atlantic Books, Random House and Beauclair Books.
